Emmanuel Jimenez Molina Memorial Aquatics Scholarship

The Emmanuel Jimenez Molina Memorial Aquatics Scholarship supports the academic pursuits of Mesa College aquatics athletes after they have completed intercollegiate competition at Mesa. Emmanuel Jimenez Molina, who was a Mesa College two-sport scholar-athlete and conference champion made a tremendous positive impact on the lives of his teammates and the budding athletes he coached at neighboring Kearny Mesa pool. This scholarship gives students the opportunity to continue their passion for water sports regardless of their life struggles. Emmanuel’s mother Trudy, sister Diana, family, Mesa Athletics and his coaches and teammates have established this scholarship in his loving memory.

To be eligible recipients must:
- An Aquatic Mesa Student-Athlete who is currently competing in their final season
- Be enrolled at least part-time (6 or more units)
- Have a minimum cumulative Mesa GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must demonstrate community service

Immediate release of full award (May of this 2020)
Scholarship funds are available four to six weeks after scholarships are announced.
