William and Margaret Memorial Scholarship

UPDATED 2024/2025

This scholarship was established by Kathleen Fennessey in memory of her parents, William Hassett and Margaret Roy to provide financial assistance to a deserving student who is actively involved in community service and volunteer work. One of the awards this year is in loving memory of Frank Fennessey, a dedicated employee of SDCCD. Frank was a kind and loving man who exemplified courage and leadership throughout his lifetime. This scholarship is being offered to provide financial assistance to a deserving student who is actively involved in community service and leadership.

To be considered for this scholarship you:

  • Must demonstrate service to others
  • Must demonstrate leadership
  • Must have letters of reference
