Trejo/Ybarra Latinas in STEM

UPDATED 2024/2025

This scholarship was established to promote diversity in STEM fields. Eligible candidates will include students identifying as female, Latina, and one of the following majors: Biology, Chemistry, Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Geology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Physics.

To be considered for this scholarship you:

  • Must have a 2.5 (C+) GPA
  • Must belong to one of the following student populations: 
Female

  • Must major in one of the following areas: 
Biology, 
Chemistry, 
Engineering, 
Physics
, Computer and Information Sciences
, Geology, 
Mathematics, or 
Physical Sciences

  • Must have completed 12+ units at Mesa
     
    Award funds will be disbursed:
Immediate release of full award (May)
