Allen Rogert Memorial Scholarship

UPDATED 2024/2025

Navy veteran Allen Rogert fought in WWII when he was just 17 years old. He admired those with an education & helped others better themselves through study. His wife & former mathematics professor, Sybil, created this scholarship in his memory.

To be considered for this scholarship you:

  • Must have a 3.0 (B) GPA
  • Must be enrolled at least part time at Mesa College
  • Must have completed 24+ units at Mesa
  • Must have taken or be enrolled in the following courses:
    MATH 121 – Basic Techniques of Applied Calculus I
    MATH 150 – Calculus with Analytic Geometry I

 


Award funds will be disbursed:
Immediate release of full award (May)

  3. 2024: Have you ever been awarded this scholarship? You are not eligible for this scholarship if you won it in the past.
  4. 2024: Please list the courses you have completed in Math at Mesa College in the last 5 years.
  5. 2024: Submit a well-written original essay about your background, your interest, goals, and accomplishments in Mathematics and/or Science in the last 5 years. 500 word limit.
