Burdg Family Scholarship

UPDATED 2025/2026

This scholarship was established in memory of Marvin and Roberta Burdg, to provide support to students at Mesa College.

To be considered for this scholarship you:

  • Must be enrolled at least part time at Mesa College
  • Must belong to one of the following student populations:
    Adult Learners
    Food Insecure
    Formerly Incarcerated
    Homelessness / Housing Insecure
    International Students (F1 Visa)
    Receiving Cash Aid / TANF / CalWORKs
    Refugee
    Single Parent
    Students with Disabilities
    Undocumented / Dreamer / AB540 / DACA
    Veterans
    Active Military
    DSPS – A program to help students with disabilities.
    EOPS – A program to help students who face barrier to success, including first generation, low income and minoritized students.
    Female
    Foster Youth (Current and Former)
    Male
    Promise Program – A program to help first time full time students san diego residents attend college for free.
    STAR TRIO
    LGBTQ+
